The Composer and Arranger
It has been my pleasure and privilege to organize and bring these Psalms versions to you. It is good to keep in mind JEHOVAH is the fountain source of all music, for he invented music. He is the true, original composer and arranger. Our talents are from him and his abilities are far beyond us. He continues to refine and mold all, as well as myself. We are all his imperfect servants at this time. I always pray for his help and understanding. Since these musical compositions are the outcome of personal study of his original Psalms, He is the owner of them. Yet also, in this sense these Psalms versions are very real, alive and living, each unique. JEHOVAH is very real and he is guiding each of us as his handiwork to the New World. We look forward to hearing and producing David's originals in the New World and in the Resurrection. For now, these versions can prove to be an encouraging aid for us to be there to hear and experience the originals in FULL GLORY! Will not the New World be Awesome and BEAUTIFUL! Imagine life as a "Grand Musical" everyday praising JEHOVAH for eternity (Nehemiah 12:27)!

This project and playlist named Stream Psalms is an effort to modernize, and produce the Psalms accurately, changing them as little as possible while rhyming and setting them to music. Each is produced with prayerful meditation, (musing) on the Psalms and referencing a variety of translations. The New World Translation is the main focus and favored. Other favored translations are the Byington, Rotherham and American Standard. Yes, using the JW Library Application and it's capabilities to compare translations makes this study and organization all the more possible. That is why Stream Psalms fits nicely and right at home in the "Personal Study" tab of JW Library as a Playlist.
Prayerful meditation, or musing, on the Psalms produces positive results. We must receive God's Word from the page and sound it deeply into our hearts! The effort to rhyme the Psalms in English, while changing them as little as possible, helps the reader and listener to remember verses. Having a melody also aids recall. Once complete, it becomes possible for a listener to memorize the Psalms. Having the Psalms in your mind and heart helps to further unlock other Bible prophecy, for the Psalms are the heart of Bible prophecy. It also aids with positive thinking for the uplifting and benefit of all.
At the climax height of my personal spiritual journey, after the 2019 "Love Never Fails" International Convention in Denmark, I had the privilege to travel and explore the surrounding area for one month. I ended up past the Arctic Circle and even into Norway, high in the mountains of a torrent valley. After a struggling climb on my hands and knees, for the passage was a bit steep, I came across a crystal clear stream flowing gently off the mountain you see in the pictures. Before I saw it, I already knew what it was, for I had been singing and arranging Psalm 110. So I drank like one of Gideon's 300 men, not once but several times, high in the mountains on a beautiful day! The sunlight reflection scattering across the surface of the water made it seem as diamonds as it multiplied the sun into myriads of smaller reflected pieces. The mountain stream water was crystal clear and simply refreshing. JEHOVAH certainly provides!
I have thought long, fondly and prayerfully about this experience. What is so important about drinking from the stream along the road? Who is the one who drinks from the stream along the road? I believe, to answer the first question, the experience is a climax of LIFE in general! The truth is, JEHOVAH wants everyone to experience drinking from the clean, crystal clear stream along the road even high in the Torrent Valley. The stream is a stream of nectar flowing from the flower that makes the BEE Buzz. It is the source of all life! It is a stream of time and space! It is a stream of truth from JEHOVAH! So it has become fitting to even think of it as a musical stream, and one to be heard by all, along the road! Once again JEHOVAH wants ALL to drink deeply from the stream of life and hold their heads high! IT IS THE CLIMAX OF LIFE ITSELF!
